2020-2021 Season Update
Submitted By Kerry Young on Tuesday, August 11, 2020

A short Shelburne Muskies update on the 20-21 season.

The Muskies first and foremost priority is the health and well being of all of our players and the members of our organization during the ongoing Covid -19 pandemic.

Current health regulations now in place restrict normal organized indoor hockey as it relates to our team and league. We are all hopeful this will change in the future. The league recently held a zoom meeting to discuss the 2020-21 season and consensus was we will not have a normal start of our season (October). The league is however hopeful that a soft target of December or early in the new year maybe more realistic at this point but of course this will all be in compliance with public health regulations. It is estimated that it will take approx. 3-5 weeks for the clubs to get ready for play once any approval for play is received. Our organization will continue to monitor the situation and will certainly pass along any new related information as it becomes available to us. Please stay healthy, stay in shape and remember to follow public health regulations so we keep our families, friends and the general public as safe as possible during these uncertain times.
